聯共制台獨 - The climax of interstraight policy dispute
The Taiwan politics has finally become as interesting as the US tax policy. It is the first time that that the pro-blue and pro-green has taken a definite stand on their views of our nationality and has communicated it clearly to the public, rather than labeling each other with denigrate names. It is now the ideal time for us to pause and consider the other side's viewpoints.
The two basic view points can be seen from the two recent speeches, one from the GMD party leader Lian at the Beijing University, and the other from the Taiwanese president Chen during his TV interview yesterday. Both speeches are carefully crafted to gain the populist's support while taking different stands from similar democratic values.
