GMD party leader Lian's speech at Beijing university has become one of the best outlet of the pro-blue interstraight policy ideal. He starts off the speech relating the Beijing University and the Taiwan Univerisity as culturally identical. However, this identity has split into two - namely the 三民主義 represented by GMD and 社會主義 represented by 中國共產黨. The split has resulted in govermental and military race across the Taiwan straight, and for hundreds of years, the Chinese history would repeat itself in civil wars if we are not careful. Therefore, we must strive for peace, co-operate at least economically, and oppose Taiwan independence to avoid war.
